Class Two
Debt is never anyone’s favourite topic. However, as Canadians we carry some of the highest levels of consumer debt.
At Solomon, we know often handling debt can be more about emotions than facts.
This is why we touch on strategies to manage debt, but also how to manage the emotions that come with it.
After attending this class, we hope you feel more prepared to handle debt in the future.
Class Three
Once your foundation is built, we move on to investing. Our key belief is that by first learning cash flow management you protect all other growth in the future.
For the investing class, we will give you a basic understanding of the types of investments and how they can fit into your real life.
By the end, whether you choose to work with us, or an advisor elsewhere – you will feel more prepared to make educated investment decisions.
Class Four
For this class we will focus on tax shelters. RRSPs, RESPs, TFSAs and a few others. We want you to feel comfortable understanding the differences and how each of them are taxed.
Since we covered investing in our last class we will also talk about how investment income is taxed.
For business owners, we will hit a few bonus points on using your corporation as a tax shelter.
